Warranty Policy

At Outboard Hub, we stand behind the products we sell and are committed to providing dependable service and support. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage available for products purchased through our website.

Warranty Coverage

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, outboard motors and marine products sold by Outboard Hub are covered by a 90-day limited warranty from the date of delivery.

Certain products may carry a longer manufacturer warranty. Where applicable, the terms and conditions of the original manufacturer will apply in addition to this policy.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal use and proper operation.

If a covered defect is confirmed during the warranty period, Outboard Hub will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product;
  • Supply replacement parts;
  • Replace the product with an equivalent item; or
  • Issue a full or partial refund where repair or replacement is not practical.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Routine maintenance and service items.
  • Damage caused by improper installation.
  • Misuse, neglect, abuse, or accidents.
  • Corrosion, water intrusion, or environmental damage.
  • Damage caused by overheating or inadequate maintenance.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Commercial use unless specifically stated otherwise.
  • Transportation or shipping damage occurring after delivery.
  • Consumable items and accessories subject to normal wear.

Warranty Claims

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our customer support team and provide:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Photographs or videos, if applicable.
  • Any additional information requested to assist with diagnosis.

Our team may request further information before determining whether the issue is covered under warranty.

Return of Products for Inspection

In certain cases, products or components may need to be returned for inspection before a warranty decision can be made.

Products returned for evaluation must not be disassembled or altered unless instructed by our support team, as this may affect warranty eligibility.

Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with returning products for warranty inspection unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If a warranty claim is approved, Outboard Hub may reimburse reasonable shipping expenses or arrange replacement shipment at no additional cost.

Limitation of Liability

Outboard Hub’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the original purchase price of the product.

Outboard Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of use, towing expenses, storage fees, loss of profits, or any other costs arising from the use or inability to use a product.
